IN THE BRENTA DOLOMITES AT 2'580 METERS SINCE 1968

The Rifugio Alimonta is located in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites and, at 2'580 meters above sea level, is the most high-altitude mountain hut of this Dolomite group.

Up here the rock reigns over the landscape, expressing itself in all its magnificence: it looks like a lunar environment where, all of a sudden, majestic peaks stand out, taking us back to the days when everything was submerged in water.

And it was in this unspoiled and incredible place that in 1968 our family built a mountain hut that would be, at the same time, a guardian of these precious territories and an essential support point for mountaineers.

EXTRAORDINARY NATURE ALL TO BE DISCOVERED

The Brenta Dolomites, known for their aesthetic and scenic value as well as their importance on a geological and geomorphological level, are included within the protected area of the Adamello Brenta Nature Park and have been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

They host a rich network of trekking trails, via ferratas and climbing routes.
